I have recently completed a new composition, ‘Forties and Fives’, for IOU’s Speaking Tubes installation. The piece is for flute, bass flute, gongs and dulcimer and has been really exciting to work on as the nature of the installation allows for movement and loads of bass so you really get to feel enveloped in the music…
There will be a preview on March 28th, 12-3pm, with the piece continuing to play 8am-8pm every day for the forseeable future! Entry is free.
I recently completed a longer term project inspired by the RNIB ‘s How I See series and my own experience of Glaucoma. The project is essentially a theme and variations exploring different visual conditions in a musical form.
