Since studying non-standard notation as part of my degree, along with having visual/sonic synaesthesia I have written graphic scores.
I’m currently working on a graphic score based on my journey to work via tube, bus and walking, with each line taken by an instrument. This is due for performance in June 2024.
In 2016 I was commissioned to produce a graphic score as part of the Fresh Yorkshire Aires project. It has since appeared as part of the British Music Collection’s article on graphic scores as well as an online exhibition.
